Pick up your Library materials anytime using our 24/7 Pickup Lockers. You can find our lockers in the indoor entryway at our east entrance off Mitchell Street.
Call us at 231-758-3100, press 2. Let us know if you would like help with new requests, or if we should move your available requests to the Pickup Lockers.
When you find what you want in our catalog, select “Petoskey District Library 24/7 Lockers” as your pickup location. Our 24/7 Locker handout includes detailed instructions for placing locker holds.
If you have difficulty reaching very high or low places or need ramp access, let us know by phone before placing your requests. A wheelchair-accessible option is available upon request. The lockers are monitored by video surveillance.
Where do I return items checked out from the pickup lockers? |
If you find that you do not want an item anymore, return that item to one of our drop boxes, located at the front and rear of the main library building and Bear Creek, Little Traverse, Resort, and Springvale Township Halls. Please return any Library of Things items directly to a librarian on the second floor. |
What items are available for locker pickup? |
Most Library items are available for pickup in a locker, as long as they will fit inside without damage, including Library of Things items. |
What if I need help? |
Please call staff during regular Library hours if you have trouble using the lockers, or need accommodations. 231-758-3100, press 2. |
The purchase of the 24/7 lockers was possible through a grant from the Petoskey-Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation.
