You need a library card to check out materials from the Petoskey District Library (PDL). You can register online, or learn how to apply in person.

Student cards |
If you attend school in the PDL service area, you can get a library card. You'll need to provide one of the following when applying:

Employee cards |
If you're an adult who works in the PDL service area and doesn't have a library card from one of our reciprocal or consortium libraries, you can get a library card from Petoskey District Library. You'll need to present current proof of employment (a recent check stub). |
Non-resident cards |
Non-residents can purchase a PDL library card for a fee:

Consortium and reciprocal libraries |
If you have a library card from any of the following consortium or reciprocal libraries, you can use your card at the Petoskey District Library. Similarly, your PDL card will work at any of these libraries:
*Cardholders from these libraries must bring proof of address and their home library card to our main desk in order to register. |
To apply in person, visit the Petoskey District Library (PDL) with a piece of ID that has your name and current address on it. You'll need to fill out a registration form to get a card.
