For years the Petoskey District Library (PDL) carried on a tradition of collecting canned goods and paper products from patrons who wished to waive their overdue library fines. The program was always so popular that patrons still ask about it.

Library’s BiblioBag Delivery Service Expands to All Eligible Emmet County Residents
Petoskey District Library (PDL) is excited to announce the expansion of its BiblioBag service to eligible residents in all of Emmet County. BiblioBag provides homebound residents the opportunity to get a wide range of library items mailed to their homes at no cost.

Lisa Scholl Recognized for 20 Years of Dedicated Service

Tween Section Coming to Children’s Area of Petoskey District Library
With the construction outside finishing up, the Petoskey District Library will be undergoing some other changes inside the building soon.
Beginning Monday, Jan. 15, the children’s area on the main floor of the library will be closed off to the public for a couple of days while a redesign of the space occurs. When the area reopens later that week, there will be a new “tween” section, specifically set up for ages 9-12.
